Table Centerpiece

Remember several days ago I purchased a large array of artificial flowers. When sorting them I immediately knew what I was going to do with one particular flower.  The centerpiece  on the dining room was just a pitcher with some leaves – nothing exciting – just sort of filling space – until something better came along. The flower that grabbed my attention reminds of the flower on the Dogwood tree – only the flower is now brown. 100_4636

Doesn’t this look like the Dogwood tree blossom?

100_4642The top flower also came from the yard sale purchase…it is a hydrangea -  in dried colors of gold, yellow and brown.

100_4640These off white flowers were from a previous arrangement that was on the fireplace hearth.

Side note: the table runner ( 100 % linen – cost $.50 at a recent yard sale).  Did you notice the funky looking pitcher sitting in the bowl holding the flowers? Yes, another recent buy - $2.00. The colors in true life had more fall colors than showing in the picture. The blue seems to really come out in the picture more than you notice in real life.

May God bless you in many ways!
