Dessert

This morning I knew we were going to have "Refrigerator Buffet" for lunch. Yes, that is a fancy name for left-overs.

Leon has no problem with food served the second time around - but to make the meal more appetizing I made an apple pie.  Using these apples from our tree - did not get many apples this year as the frost killed probably 99% of the blossoms.100_2218100_2225 Served this with a topping of vanilla ice cream...um um good! One more thing, I used home made crust - which to me is better tasting.

Apple pie sounds so English! It looks lovely. We planted an apple tree this year and it has about twelve apples on it, but we haven't tasted them yet. Hopefully that's a treat in store for us.
