Wardrobe Change

Our yard has changed its appearance by going "white". Three layers make for a somewhat fluffy look...ice-sleet-snow.
I think it would be a bit cold (and dangerous) to swing in the tree swing today!

Most of the pond is frozen - just a small area the ducks keep open.

Just wanted you to see what January offered us in the form of moisture.

Temperature is supposed to be in the 50's today and 60's tomorrow. A lot of this will thaw.

Brrrrr! It is beautiful though to look out on all that undisturbed white. Hope the ice does not do damage to your beautiful trees.

Hope you are keeping warm and cozy.

Beautiful photos!

Temps for Eastern Iowa for the weekend are: 17* today, 34* Saturday, and 30* Sunday.

Wow! A heat wave for US!

That is so pretty. What pretty views you have. We haven't had much of any snow this year, but are hopeful we will see some Tuesday. It has been cold enough though. I'm ready for summer. Be careful in that ice!

Lovely photographs, doesn't the snow always make everything look so beautiful. No fun if you have to be outside, or to travel of course. Great if you can stay inside and sew. It's chilly here, but not cold enough for snow.

Your weather makes me green with envy ,it's -20 C here right now and they say to expect a major snow storm on Monday .
Your yard looks just as pretty in the winter as your summer photo's .

Absolutely gorgeous and thank you for sharing your pretty pictures. Isn't it funny that we work so hard to decorate things and yet God can just wave his little finger and come up with a lovely scene like that? Love it!!
