Each spring I plant my amaryllis bulbs in a certain location where they get just the right amount of sun...and each year they thank me by producing such beautiful blossoms.
This one that has the white in the center will have three flowers on a single stem. The lower right one had two stems and four flowers on each stem. I have a couple more that will be blooming in the next few days.
This one must measure about 5 to 6 inches across. Quite a beauty!

The amaryllis is so pretty ,you surely must have a green thumb .
How lovely to be able to plant them outside - they are strictly an indoor plant here.
Beautiful!why can't I get my silk plants to bloom? Hee hee! No green thumb here!
Those are just beautiful!!
Mine are blooming up too. One has already bloomed and the second one opened yesterday. I keep them in the basement all winter and set them out in the spring. I had DD take pics of mine this evening and I will post them on my blog when she gets them off her camera for me. Mine are solid red. I really like the white on yours. Thanks so much for sharing them with us!
Those are beautiful. The color is wonderful and they sure are big. I have loads of tiger lilies here, but they are no where near blooming yet. We had frost warnings last night. Ahhh...the joys of Michigan....

I agree, must have a green thumb along with that wonderful OK soil. Definately something to make your day brighter. How long will the blooms last for you to enjoy?
So very pretty! They look so healthy and vibrant.
Those are really beautiful. I've never tried to grow them. I might just have to try.
Amelia..Thanks for visiting my blog and for the kind comments! I LOVE your amaryllis! I had a lot of them year before last, but this year, they didn't do well. What did come up, where stunted. I was so disappointed, because I love to use them for but flowers! Our bloom around the middle of March.
Hope you will come back to see me soon...I'll check on you later! :)
