Morning View

These pictures were taken from my back porch this morning. I had just finished watering my flowers and was thinking we have such a wonderful "Garden of Eden". The sun is hittng the water just right...so the water is sparkling like diamonds.
Yes, if you look close the lawn needs to be mowed. Leon is going to do that either this afternoon or in the morning. With gas being so expensive we are just mowing once a week instead of twice a week like he did last year.
If you look right in the middle of this picture...you can see some of the onions growing in our garden.
This water feature has been in the back yard for about 5 years now. The water is set up with a circulating pump...so I hear the wonderful sound of water all the time when I am in the back yard.
Because of the size of the yard we do not try to achieve a cottage looking garden...it is more like a park...got lots of wide open spaces..

Come sit awhile and we will discuss the problems of the world!

Ohhhh that is so me!!! lol lol I have plows and wagon wheels all in the back yard...it would go perfect and my little 3 yr old granddaughter would think it was her own personal swimming pool! lol lol Thanks for coming by friend and I hope you are having a beautiful day!!!

I am so jealous. that's the garden I would love to have. I've always said that if I ever win the lottery I'm going to buy a house with a huge garden. I don't want a big house, just a huge garden.

love and hugs Gina xxx

You have a beautiful, spacious yard. I'm like Gina....wish I had your big garden.

I can definitely tell what state you live in by looking at the dirt! :-)

Hi Amelia, Saw you over at Picket's and decided to stop in for a visit! Your yard is beautiful! It does look like a park, the grass and trees are so green and lush! Love the water feature with the cowboy boot...that is cute! And your husband did a great job on the little wagon!

Great blog! :) Take Care!

Hey girl..hope you are having a beautiful day on your side of the mountain...I told Bill about your water feature yesterday...when I told him it looked like you used what we call a drinking tub for horses and cattle..he said "do you know how expensive those things are these days..especially the old ones?" lol I told him we could buy a new one at the co-op and rust it up a bit! lol lol I just love looking at yours ...it is perfect for my setting! Thanks for coming by today...take care!

Amelia, that is one of the prettiest places I've ever seen. I truly believe you have your very own paradise there.
Love the whimsey of your water feature, as well as the lovely sound it must make.
I don't think the grass will mind being cut less, and that sound of the mower will a nice absence. As much as I love the smell of freshly cut grass, I detest the sound of the lawn mowers!
Sending cool WI hugs, Finn

I tagged you but if you aren't interested, just ignore it. I never know who would want to play along but thought you might.
