In previous shopping trips I have bought these wire objects. I suppose they are just decorative and really have no real purpose. The cost was less than $2.00 for each of them - so not a lot of money was spent. However, you can not put a dollar figure on the amount of pleasure they have bought me. Yes, go ahead and say it...I am cheap.
This wire basket is the last item I have purchased. Size wise - 4 inches across and stands 3 1/4 inches tall. This picture shows a green cast to the color - but really it is more brown looking.
This one is so fragile looking. Height is 5 1/4 inches and the base is 2 1/2 inches wide. It is this gorgeous green patina in color.
This wire basket is 8 inches tall and 5 inches at the widest point. I have seen pictures of large ones that were called "egg baskets". The use for this - who knows - I just like it.
I have two of these wire carrier type baskets. They are 11 1/2 inches tall and 4 inches wide.If anyone has an idea as to what they were originally made for - let me know.

oh your not cheap at all ,its funny when you start talking about it ,you'll fine so many other people do the same thing .I love thrift stores and garage sales .As far as your wire objects I wonder if the last one was used to hold some kind of bottle ,maybe a milk bottle ,oh gee there I go showing my age again LOL .
The carrier was for milk or cream delivery back in the day when milk was delivered to your home in bottles. Sadly, I remember this!...
If the last one is too small for a milk bottle, I used to have a couple like that that held small jars with scented candles in them. There was a local company here that made and sold them and they were heavenly!
I was just at Good Will yesterday, but I was buying more Lego blocks! They keep my grandson happy for hours so I am adding to the collection whenever I see them there.
What wonderful finds! I don't know how old the last one is but I have several of them that are antiques from my great grandmother. They were used to hold the cans in the canner while canning vegetables. That way you could put the jar out and you wouldn't get burned. I probably have 10 of these, but of course mine are not in that good of shape like yours.

I have one very similar to the last one and it holds a quart canning jar. Yours looks a little bit bigger so maybe a larger jar?
I am almost certain the last one is a toaster, to be put over a gas burner. I remember using one in my grandmother's camper.
I am a Junk-aholic from way back! my mom raised me on yard sales. As I tell my DH, I'm not cheap, I'm frugal! It's in my blood, tee hee
Love your new (old) treasures! Love the thrift stores, but I am banned (by my self) for now...hehehe!
The last basket item, I believe, is a jar candle holder. My girlfriend had a little gift shop for a few years several years ago, and sold them in her store.
