Temperature gauge is still high indicating summer time has not left us...however, my summer decorations for the most part are packed up and in storage - awaiting for another year.
For the past several days I have been going thru my Fall/Halloween/Thanksgiving decorations. Some went to the garage sale box ~ some went to the trash - others that are old and I am getting tired/bored with are placed outside for their last year of use.
Some of the decorating spots I removed some of the very summery items and replaced them with "this season". Other locations I just added a few items to give it a proper time of the year look. Still other places, I had to clean out and start with a new slate. Some of them I like - other places just so-so...the coffee table is not pleasing me at all....but don't know what I want to put there...certainly not anything that is in my stash. What does that mean, yes, perhaps when I am in town I will keep my eyes open for just the right thing to place there.
I will show you some of the pictures - don't want to tire you with all that I took.
Mantle - used white pumpkins for a couple of years...got out the spray can of hammered copper and sprayed them...I like the new look.

You know how much I like the birds outside...and use them a lot in my decorating in the house - remember these from Dollar Tree at the first of the year. I still like them and wanted to continue to leave them out. Now if the weather would cool down it would seem more like Fall.

All of your Fall decorating looks wonderful and I LOVE the new copper color of the pumpkins. I just can't seem to get into Fall decorating yet with the HOT temperatures we have been having. I DO hope it cools down soon.

Great decorations I love the shelf in the entertainment center , the cool white dishes with the splashed of fall colors ,very pretty . I don't decorate with the seasons anymore but I do love looking at your photo's .Thanks for sharing .
It's hot here too, but hopefully, we have some relief coming next weekend. Thank heavens! Like your fall decor. Also like the way you used cobalt blue w/ it for a change of pace.
I always enjoy seeing your seasonal decorating and your autumn colours look lovely, especially the new copper pumpkins. We've been having an Indian Summer here too, and it's great to still be able to spend much of the day outside.

Oh your place looks great! I am wanting cooler weather too. I am so ready for it. I love the copper pumpkins! I don't think that I have any decorations. I usually just get a pumpkin and some corn stalks for the outside. Your home is gorgous. I can't wait to see more.
