Some Day

100_2353 Some day, one day, soon this beautiful little girl will have lots of hair. Now, it is short and reddish blond, but we know in time all this will change.

We all love her anyway.

Not a lot of anything going on around here. Husband's knee is really bothering him - will have surgery - waiting on Doctor's office to give us the date - seems like some one dropped the ball last time we were there and failed to schedule the surgery - I called them and now waiting!

Was pretty weather last week so we accomplished some outdoor things. I know one thing, if we had a dime for all the leaves on our place we would be very rich. Not all have fallen so will wait until that happens and then have a mulching party. Some of my flowers are still in bloom - amazing - with it being nearly the middle of November.

Leon bought me a Cricut machine a couple or so weeks ago...so have been doing some scrapbooking pages of that sweet with not much hair grand daughter of ours. Still quilting - just at night - doing my hand quilting then.

Have not been to garage/yard sales or thrift stores in the last several weeks...I need to process some of the last things purchased - before I add anymore to the stack.

You all have a great week - do something that brings a smile to your face - thank God for all the blessings of life.

Amelia

P.S. In case you wondered who was in the picture above - well, I call her Little Girl, Leon calls her L.A. (Little Amelia) and her parents and brother call her Millie...but her given name is Amelia Elaine.

Awwwww grand daughter Little Amelia is so precious!!!

Oh, I am with you on the leaves...we would definitely be rich around here!!!

A Cricut sounds fabulous....I bet it is fun learning about it and crafting with it.

Amelia is precious!

Hope your hubby's knee improves. You are lucky he helped you with those leaves. :) You can't have all the dimes or nickels for those leaves...because we have a zillion of them too.

Oh, she is a precious doll baby!! I was bald until I was 2, now I have to have my hair thinned out, it give me headaches! If you remember about 1 1/2 yrs ago, I had about 18inches cut off, now I could cut off about 12 inches and it would still be at my shoulders!!!

How terrible that Leon is having such problems with his knee. Please let me know when his surgery is. I will keep him in my prayers.

Baby Amelia looks lovely, she must give you all such joy. Sorry to hear about Leon's knee, you must be hoping that they hurry up and sort out the surgery. Hopefully he will recover quickly. We've had horrid weather, lots and lots of rain so not much going on outside and the leaves are mulching themselves into mush where they lay. Yuk!

I am glad the surgery is scheduled and going to happen so he can begin to heal and feel better.

Little Amelia tips the precious scale over the edge! she is a beauty already!

we are waiting for a "performance rating" on the cricut, worth the money? have you used it for fabric? hassle to haul out all the parts for? easy to set the stencils? does it leave a lot of waste?

we're counting on you to let us know the "real story"

Oh little Amelia is a doll!!! What a precious girl.

I am assuming your husband is having knee replacement? My boss just had it done and is so pleased.

The Cricut machine sounds like such fun! I've often thought about getting one.

Aww, isn't she adorable? My daughter didn't have hair until almost two, then she had these darling little ringlets!
Thanks so much for your kind comment on my blog today. I so appreciate you coming by and visiting!

PS....how fun to have a Cricut to play with!
