Time to change...

Falling%20Leaves The calendar says tomorrow is the first day of fall.

The weatherman is predicting some cooler temps.

What does this mean to a mad woman who likes to decorate?

Today is the day to get all the items from the storage building that I use for my fall season decorating. Some things will be new to me - such as items picked up at garage/yard sales since last season...also probably will have some I picked up at a very low price at one place or another. I have already been to the Dollar Tree several weeks ago and purchased some fun things.

Purchased a couple of pumpkins several days ago and have them perched on the front porch.

Homeland had their gallon size mums on sale - so got two in the deep wine color. Replanted them in the urns on porch - after I took out the summer geraniums and put them in a holding flower box until I prepare them for the winter.

It will probably take me several days to accomplish all I want to do...if I do any vignette that is outstanding I will post a picture of it.

Question: Last year white pumpkins seemed to be the rage...is it back to orange this year? Suppose I should go buy some orange paint? Or just be out of the "in" thing this year...stay tuned and find out what I do!

I decorated this past weekend and I am going to link up tomorrow at the Fall party. The button is on the right top of my blog if you want to join in.

It really is fallish here, isn't it? I looked out the window a few minutes ago and leaves are falling when the wind blows. Woo hoo!

You are sooo good! I have not even thought of fall, yet. Now, I cannot ignore it any more, I have to get the leaves and punkins out!

As for the colored punkins, I always use the regular ones, but that is because I don't want to buy "new" all the time,,,(am I cheap, or what?)

LOL at buying orange spray paint for the pumpkins. :) I am doing white this year...I got on the bandwagon too late last year. Too, I painted my LR this spring so white will go better. I've never done so much white & black and I know it seems Halloweenish but I'm really loving it.

Yes, the yellow flowers are wild flowers. We are not too far (45 min because of traffic) to Stone Mountain and there are some places closer where there is a lot of stone. The picture is from a park not too far from us,=.

Cannot believe it is almost "fall"! It stopped raining this afternoon long enough for me to spray paint some items and it is HOT outside. I've actually enjoyed the rain because it's been cooler than normal.

Sorry for the looooong comment. :) Can't wait to see your fall decor!

A cold front hit us here in West Texas tonight and it's supposed to be pretty cold in the morning. I am so soooo ready for it. I love wintertime so much..can't wait.

I look forward to seeing your fall decorations.
What caught my attention is 'storage unit'. Do you store things in one in your yard, or do you rent one?

I am considering renting one so I can empty my garage!

Enjoyed visiting,

Laura
