This is probably the most important thing I will do today. We are so fortunate to live in a country where we can vote for our choice of the candidates. I am a Republican and voted that way. If you choose to vote for the other candidates that is your privilege. That is one of the many reasons I feel is so wonderful about our United States of America. We must put our political differences aside and work for the good of all of us. Many years ago, even before Jesus was on this earth, Aesop spoke "United we stand, divided we fall". That adage is as true today as it was in 500 BC. As Christians we must go the extra mile - if necessary - to unite our people. That does not mean we have to accept rules or policies that are against our beliefs - but see if there is not another solution or idea with which we can live.
If you read this post before you vote - take a period of time and really think through the platforms and promises of each of the candidates...also ask God to lead you in the proper choice.

I voted too!
Yes, I managed to drag myself out to vote this morning. Thank goodness, I didn't have to stand in line too long, I am still sick, but never know, my one little vote could make a difference! Giggle, and by reading your post, I think we voted for the same one!!!!

This was a beautifully written sentiment...now the nail biting begins! ;-) Bo
Thanks for the wonderful post. I voted and took a new citizen to vote for the first time.
Hey girl..thanks for coming by...I am just so glad the election is over! lol I hope you like the recipe..it really is good and meaty and the sauce is just so good with the spaghetti...like I said just mix the sauce & spaghetti noodles together when you get thru eating what you want and they are so good the next day with garlic toast...we love spaghetti with all the garlic and spices made the original way people eat it but this is just plain ol down home country spaghetti! lol lol
I went out and voted early. I feel our job now is to pray for our new president...whoever wins, we need to pray and support him
